Power Outage Rescue is the final quest of the first chapter of Infinity Nikki and it starts as soon as you end the Unexplained Coma Incidents quest. This is not only one of the longest quests in the game, but it can be very tough to complete as well, due to its mix of platforming and puzzle elements.
This article will guide you through all you need to know about the Power Outage Rescue quest, from how to complete certain sections to the rewards you get for completing it.
Power Outage Rescue Quest Location In Infinity Nikki

The Power Outage Rescue quest will pop up in your mission tab as soon as you have completed the Unexplained Coma Incidents quest, and your first objective will be to go to the Mayor’s Residence, to the southeast of Floralwash to officially begin it.
Here, you will meet Mayor Grace and the Croakers who will tell Nikki about the trouble being caused by the Monroefins. To deal with these Monroefins, Nikki and Nonoy will suggest a plan, which starts off by crafting the Electrician Outfit.
Crafting The Electrician Outfit
The Electrician or the Fully Charged outfit can be crafted in the Heart of Infinity with the following list of items:
- Daisy x 13
- Foodie Bee x 1
- Floof Yarn x 1
- Thread of Purity x 148
Along with this list, you will also need to have 2 Whimstars as well as 10,000 Bling to create this outfit. Most of the items on the list can be found around the Mayor’s Residence so make sure to keep an eye out for them. Once you have crafted the Fully Charged Outfit, it will allow you to repair power boxes by completing the electrical repair mini-games.
Entering The Well Of Fortune

After you have created the outfit, you will be tasked with going to the Well of Fortune, which is located on the northeast side of Florawash, towards the waterfalls. Once you meet the Croaker here, it will give you the Key to the Well of Fortune as well as a healing nectar. Make your way towards the entrance of the Well of Fortune, which is located behind the waterfall.
Pro Tip: Before heading through the doors, make sure to look out for items, as there are plenty of Dews of Inspiration and some Whimstars that you can pick up here by completing some simple platforming sections.
Exploring The Well Of Fortune
You will find a hole in the middle of the room as soon as you enter the doors to the Well of Fortune. You can jump down this hole to start the next section of the quest. Once you’re down the hole, keep walking straight until you come up to a sparkling power box on the right.

Your electrician outfit will allow you to fix this power box if you are able to complete a small mini-game. This mini-game is fairly easy to complete as all you have to do is rotate three of the black squares in order to complete the circuit.
Crossing The Waterway
This next section can be a little tricky if your platforming skills are not up to the mark, but it still shouldn’t cause you too much trouble. Your main goal here is to get to the end of the chamber by jumping across the lilypads and trying not to fall into the water.
The Monroefins will also be blowing bubbles to disrupt you even more, which can make life a little hard, but you should be good as long as you time your jumps properly and remain patient.
Once you have crossed the lilypads, you will come across two more sparkling power boxes as well as a Big Croaker who is being attacked by the Monroefins. To help this Croaker, you will have to repair both these power boxes with the help of your Electrician Outfit. While getting to these power boxes can be a little challenging, and you might end up falling in the water a few times, solving them won’t be too difficult at all.
The Big Croaker will then tell you to find the main power switch in the deepest part of the well and turn it on to bring everything back to normal once again. You can then jump on top of this Croaker and then on the platform near his head to delve into the next section.
The Last Power Box

The last power box can be a little tough to find by yourself, so follow the steps below:
- Enter the corridor on top of the platform.
- Keep heading straight and take a right when the corridor ends to enter a room.
- There will be another croaker in this room, take the stairs opposite to it to enter a tunnel.
- Keep walking down this tunnel until you come across the final power box on the right.
This power box may take a little more time as it has more black squares, but it shouldn’t be too hard. This section also contains many Dews of Inspiration and Whimstars that you can find by exploring the area.
Once you have fixed the last power box, another tunnel will light up, which will be full of lilypads and water, with the Monroefins trying to blow you off with their bubbles. You will have to jump from lilypad to lilypad while being aware of the Monroefins attacks, and not falling off. This section can be time-consuming especially as you have to restart it completely if you miss a lilypad and fall into the water, which means patience is key here.
Once you complete this section, you will come across a Croaker, who will give you a lift on his huge lily pad boat so you can enter the final section of the quest.
Fighting The Final Monroefin

You will come across a huge, pink Monroefin as you enter the Waterway Ends area, and it will attack you in the form of differently shaped bubble waves. The key to avoiding getting hit by these waves is to figure out the gaps between the waves and jump at the right time to get to the next platform. All the Monroefin’s attacks and the best ways to counter them are listed in the table down below:
Waves | Form of Attacks | Counters |
First Wave | These bubbles will be in the form of a general wave shape, making them easy to dodge. | Jump over the bubbles when they are at their lowest points. |
Second Wave | These bubbles will be in the shape of squares or boxes with gaps in between them. | This wave should also be considerably easy as their will be huge gaps in between the bubbles that you can jump through. |
Third Wave | The third wave will consist of patterns of three waves being sent out at a time. | There will be enough time between these waves that you can easily jump through them. |
Fourth Wave | This wave consists of a constant stream of bubbles. | Although this might look hard at first, as the stream is at a very low angle, you can just jump over all of the bubbles with the help of the barrels towards the right side of the platform. |
Fifth Wave | These bubbles will be in the shape of a pattern, with plenty of low points. | Examine the low points in the waves, and jump under the bubbles and onto the next platform. |
Sixth Wave | The sixth wave will be similar to the first wave with plenty of ups and downs. | Time the waves correctly and just duck and run underneath them to get to the other side. |
Seventh Wave | This is probably the toughest wave and consists of a stream of bubbles on top as well as on the bottom. | Take your time to jump and slowly glide through the middle of both these streams. |
Eighth Wave | The last wave will be in the form of boxes, with gaps in the middle for you to glide through. | Aim to move towards the left, and quickly pass through one of these boxes to complete the mission. You can also use the barrel on the right side of the platform to give you extra time to glide in the air. |
Once you complete this platforming section, Nikki will turn on the main power switch in a cutscene and you will have beat the giant Monroefin. You can then meet up with Nonoy outside of the Well of Fortune to complete this quest.
