Hecate is one of the many weekly bosses that Wuthering Waves has to offer. She is also the last boss fight of the Rinascita questline. You can fight this boss three times a week, with guaranteed rewards that can be used to upgrade your team. In this guide, we will go over tips to defeat Hecate and her location.
Hecate Location In Wuthering Waves

Fast travel to Ragunna City and keep heading west until you see a Sonoro Sphere. Enter the sphere to begin the challenge and fight Hecate. However, before you proceed make sure that you have finished the main quest Chapter 2, Act 3: What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing.
How To Beat Hecate In Wuthering Waves

Hecate is a 2-phase boss fight, and the trick in this entire fight is not to be hesitant or overly-aggressive as well. With well-timed dodges, parries, and counterattacks, you can certainly overcome Hecate. Let’s look at both phases one by one.
Phase 1

As you approach her, Hecate will summon three eyes that shoot out lasers and deal a lot of damage, so your first thought is to avoid them. However, there is a small window between the eyes’ appearance and the laser shooting, which should be punished. So run up, land in a couple of quick attacks, then immediately dodge out of the laser’s way.
She will then usually create some distance, and either attack with a forward slash, or throw spinning blades towards you. With perfect timing, you can parry the forward slash for a counterattack, but you must avoid the spinning blades. If you get too close, Hecate also has a slash attack that pushes her backwards while simultaneously attacking you.

The most dangerous part of this phase is her kick combo, where she attacks you four times in quick succession. This attack can also be parried, but if you are not confident enough, it is always better to just dodge out of the way. You will see she is starting this combo when she lifts her leg, and her foot glows red.
Phase 2

In this phase, Hecate transforms and equips a whip. Be on your guard, because as soon as her transformation animation is over, she will lunge at you for a devastating combo that throws you high in the air, which she will follow up with multiple slash attacks. She will use a variety of whip attacks this time, all of which can be parried. Her spinning blades and laser-shooting eyes are also powered up, and she will often try to trap you in tight spaces with these. Try your best to keep dodging and moving out of the way, but you are bound to take damage during this phase. Break her shields and deplete her entire health for the second time to finally beat Hecate.

After you defeat her, a cutscene will play where you will be teleported out of the Sonoro Sphere and it is revealed that Hecate is still not completely defeated, and there might be a Phase 3. But don’t worry, this time you don’t have to fight her. With the help of friends, you defeat her in the cutscene for the final time.
