The Secret Ceremony quest takes place in ‘Eternal Holy City’ Okhema. Performing this Secret Ceremony will let you have a glimpse of the past through a mythical holographic projection type of an interaction. The 3 ceremonial items required for this quest are:
- Earth Nourishing Quintessence- Georio’s Mystical Black Soil
- The Bestowal of Wisdom Inheritance- Cerce’s Mystical Seeds
- Spring of Life’s Blessing- Phagousa’s Mystical Philter

How To Start The Secret Ceremony Quest In Honkai Star Rail 3.0
The Secret Ceremony quest unlocks on picking up the ‘Scroll of Mysterious Rites’ in the Marmoreal palace region. Open your ‘Star Rail Map’, select ‘Eternal Holy City’ Okhema, and teleport to the ‘Marmoreal Palace’. Go straight till you see 2 sets of stairs, one going up and one heading down. Then make your way southeast of the map.
You will come across a brownish-reddish cushion in the middle, containing a scroll inside. Investigate it for a small cutscene to appear. After the cutscene, you are given 2 options. Select “How strange. This requires thorough inspection.” to progress the cutscene. Doing this will drop the ‘Scroll of Mysterious Rites’, stating the items required for the Secret Ceremony quest. Mid-cutscene you will be again given two options, select “Couldn’t Hurt, I guess!” to start the quest.
How To Complete The Secret Ceremony Quest In Honkai Star Rail 3.0
Gather all the 3 ceremonial items and offer them to a tree trunk in Okhema to complete the Secret Ceremony quest. Let us have a look at the ceremonial item locations one by one.
Ceremonial Items #1 And #2 Locations
Head slightly forward from your current location and turn left when you come across 2 benches. You will find a brown colored Basket behind the benches. Interacting with the basket gives you:
- Mystical Black Soil
- Mystical Seeds
Ceremonial Item #3 Location
For the last Ceremonial item, head right from where you started, and straight from the benches towards the stairs leading to a podium with mini swimming pools. You will find a Chest near the railing. Interacting with gives you:
- Mystical Philter
Offering The Ceremonial Items To Comple The Secret Ceremony In Honkai Star Rail 3.0
The final step to complete the Secret Ceremony quest is to offer all the 3 ceremonial items to a tree trunk. Teleport to the ‘Garden of Life‘. Follow the waypoint marker towards a tree trunk. Investigating it will start a small cutscene. Action ‘Bury the offering by the tree roots‘ when prompted in the cutscene to progress further in the cutscene.
Mid-way through the cutscene, select the prompt ‘Activate Fragments of Recollection‘, through which you will see 3 blue colored holographic embodiments. Approach them and select ‘Confused Disciples‘. After a small cutscene, the quest will be completed.

Completing the Secret Ceremony Quest unlocks the ‘Fruitless Tree’ achievement and rewards you with:
- Memory Crystal Shard x2
- Silver Jade x10
- Lost Gold Fragment x2
- Gold Honeycake x1
- Dried Sagelore Fruit x1
- Credit x5000
Pro Tip: The scroll will blink when you are near the ceremonial items. You can find the ceremonial items in any order you wish, but we recommend you follow our order for convenience.
