Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a fresh take on the metroidvania genre. It has a deep lore, excellent storytelling and world-building characteristics. In addition to that, the game also has multiple endings that vary on player choices and exploration. Today, we will take you through all the endings Ender Magnolia has to offer.
How To Get All Endings In Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist
Ender Magnolia has two different endings, primarily known as A and B. Players can get these endings either via two entire playthroughs, or by reloading previous saves and completing the necessary prerequisites. There is no subjectivity to the endings, as they are clearly categorized by the devs themselves as “The Good One” and “The Bad One”.
Ending A

This is the straightforward ending, that you would achieve just by playing through the game. You must fight Gilroy The Administrator in the Armed Form, but he does not die after being defeated. Instead he vanishes, and you need to fight his True Form again as the final boss battle of the game. After you have defeated him for the second time, Magnolia will suggest sacrificing herself to purify the corruption afflicting the world. After an emotional exchange, Magnolia fades away and you get the Succession of Ward trophy. This is considered to be the “bad” ending.
Ending B

You need to defeat Gilroy the Administrator while wearing Lilia’s Bighted Ring Relic to achieve the “good” ending. This process can be complicated, but if you follow the steps below precisely, you will be able to achieve it quite easily.
Step 1

Get the “Stele of the Land of Origin” from the Land of Origin. You will need the Grand Sorcerer’s Key, which can be obtained by playing through the main story. Reach to the location shown in the image and you will find Levy, who hands over the stele to you after a short conversation.
Step 2

Get to the Blighted Pupil from the west side of the Land of Origin. The door to this area unlocks while navigating the Central Stratum in the main story. You need to defeat the Mad Knight Reibolg here and tune with him. After a brief cutscene, he will give you the Blighted Pupil.
Step 3

Talk to the black-hooded NPC in Sorcerer’s Academy. You will find her exactly at the location shown in the image. She will tell you about a device called Pillar of Purification that can cleanse the Blight in the Land of Origin, which must be activated from the Frost.
Step 4

Head to the Crimson Forest and interact with the black-hooded NPC again. She will give you some information about her background along with additional lore of the game.
Step 5

Go to the southern portion of the land of origin, where you can see the black-hooded NPC resting. After talking to her, proceed forward and you will see Lilia trapped in Blight. Interact with her and the NPC returns, telling you not to touch her right now.
Step 6

Interact with the black-hooded NPC located on a bridge at Central City in Central Stratum, just above the craftory on the map. She mentions that with the items you collected earlier, she can craft an amulet that lowers the Blight’s burden on a body. After the conversation, you will receive the Faintly Glowing Aegis Curio.
Step 7

Head back to Lilia’s location and interact with her. A short cutscene will play out, after which she will give you Lilia’s Blighted Ring – the most important item of this ending. Additionally, you will also receive the White Priestess’ Attire, and The Truth trophy.
Step 8

Go back to the bridge and interact with the black-hooded NPC for the final time. After that, equip Lilia’s Blighted Ring from the Relics section in the menu, and get ready for the final boss battle.
Step 9

This time, the second boss fight with Gilroy will be in his Absolute form. All his attacks are faster, and he hits for massive chunks of damage. You need to be very well-equipped and upgraded for this fight.
After you have defeated him, Mongolia will destroy the origin of magic, which gives a limited lifespan to Homunculi all over the world, making them more “human-like”. This is the ending B, and you will receive “The End and the Beginning” trophy for achieving it.
And that completes all the information on how to get both endings in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist. If you are looking to go trophy-hunting, then do check our guide on all 12 Grimoire locations that unlocks the Forged in Fire trophy in the game.
