Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero comes with a bunch of fighting styles and moves to learn. While some of these moves are fairly intuitive and taught in the game’s tutorial section, some are a little more advanced and need to be discovered by yourself.
This is also the case for the Combo Reset feature in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. This feature can be extremely effective if you know how to execute it and it will help you win plenty of Online games. This article will tell you all about Combo Resetting in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero and how you can pull it off.
What Is Combo Reset In Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero?

Combo Resets are a bunch of moves that you can do in quick succession to one another in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, which lets you reset your combos and keep your opponents stuck in a loop that they can’t get out of. While these moves aren’t officially classed as bugs, a few of them, such as the popular Leg Sweep loop have been patched with the Heroes of Justice DLC Update.
There are still quite a few Combo Reset moves that you can pull off in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero even after the update but they are a little more difficult than simply spamming a move over and over again. You can go into the Battle Training mode in the game to practice these new techniques and eventually perfect them.
How To Combo Reset In Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero?
The Leg Sweep Combo

Although the old Leg Sweep loop has been patched, you can still pull off a different set of combos using the Leg Sweep which can produce the same effect.
To do this, you will have to start off with the Leg Sweep from the front of your opponent, after which you need to either Ascend or Descend. As soon as you have ascended or descended, you need to use your Short Dash to get back to where you came from and your opponent will automatically be facing their back towards you. Right after you use your Short Dash, use your Charged Ki Blasts. This will knock back your opponent and you can then catch up with them and attack them further.
Your Combo counter will consistently reset if you manage to learn this technique but you will need some practice to perfect it. You can also use this Combo when you are facing your opponent’s back but you will need to dash backward rather than using your Short Dash to get away from them. The rest of the combination should work the same.
You can continue these combos by spamming body strikes to your opponents and most of them would struggle to get out of this loop if you do it well enough.
The Flying Kick Combo

This Combo Reset is a little tougher to execute but can still be very effective if you can perfect its timing. You will also need to face your opponent’s back for this combo and it can be started off by simply using your Flying Kicks. Your opponent will turn around and be stunned for a second after this move and this is when you have to fly back over to their backside and use your body strikes.
This will make your combo counter reset and you can keep doing this alongside the Rolling Hammer to continue your combo and wear your enemies down.
The Rolling Hammer ability can be very useful for pulling off Combo Resets. You should ideally use this when you are in the middle of attacking your opponents on their back whether it be in the form of body strikes or any other attacks. You can use the Rolling Hammer to reset your combos in the middle of these attacks and then get back to spamming your body strikes.
And that completes the Combo Reset for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. The new DLC has introduced a good amount of content to the game, do check our guides on Gamma 1, Gamma 2 & Super Hero Piccolo.
