Yellow Brick have released their first game, and its an action-adventure RPG called Eternal Strands. You take control of Brynn, and fight majestic battles throughout your journey. The game also introduces unique mechanics, and with them come the kind of achievements/trophies you might not expect to see in your everyday action-adventure game. Today we will take you through the method to achieve the Spellbound trophy in Eternal Strands.
How To Get The Spellbound Achievement In Eternal Strands
You need to constrain all the limbs of a bipedal arkon in order to get the Spellbound achievement. This essentially means that you need to fully disable him for a short period of time. We recommend that you try to get this achievement after you have finished the game, as you need a few prerequisites that are only available on completion.
You will need a lot of Magic for this achievement, so we recommend using the Opportunist outfit. Next, equip level 3 Ice Wall from the Frost Powers section. You need an upgraded Weave Strand to level up your abilities, so harvest your enemies instead of directly eliminating them. Now use the loom gate and travel to Lower Dynevron, where the Ark of the Winter Tide resides. Additionally, you can also change the weather to Flash Freeze before you go.
We recommend this Ark specifically because one of his attacks consists of him slamming both of his hands down. This attack is slow and fairly easy to dodge, but most importantly it sets up perfectly for the achievement. As soon as he slams down, dodge and start using your ice wall on his hands. Next, start freezing his legs while avoiding any stomp attempts. He will eventually fall to his knees, and this is your chance – start connecting his limbs to the ground as quickly as you can, because he recovers from the disable pretty fast.
Once you are done freezing the last limb, the Spellbound achievement will pop up. Also, remember to use the Frost Shroud file and armor with cold resistance if you plan to use Flash Freeze.
