Much like Ender Lilies, there are a few bosses in Ender Magnolia that belong to the same group. These bosses are generally tied to each other lore wise, and often revealed one by one after facing defeat. In this article, we will guide you through one such boss group in Ender Magnolia called the Combat Puppets.
Combat Puppets Location In Ender Magnolia

You can find the Combat Puppets in the Arena Tower at the far east corner of Central Stratum – Steel District. You will find a Respite with multiple levels above it, which will be your clue that you have reached the bottom of the Arena Tower. From here go right, and use the elevator to go up and into the room full of “cheering” Homunculi in background.
How to Defeat All The Combat Puppets in Ender Magnolia
Each combat puppet has a varying moveset, but they all can be defeated with almost the same strategy and equipment.
Combat Puppet: No. 20

This is your introduction to the arena, and the first enemy you will face. He is not very hard to defeat, as his attack pattern stays the same throughout the fight. If you are at a distance, he will close the gap with a forward kick, and if you are close, he will slash his sword. The kick is pretty slow, and you can see it coming from miles away. However, his sword attack is fast and can sometimes be hard to react, but deals significantly less damage. At half health, he will occasionally use a swirl attack, creating blazes around himself in a short range.
Combat Puppet: No. 14

After you have defeated no. 20, proceed ahead and use the elevator to go to the next level. Your next foe is no. 14, who uses different kinds of projectiles to fight. As soon as he spots you, no. 14 will throw a projectile straight ahead. You can either jump over or dash through it to close the distance, and he will throw three bombs that detonate into smoke after a short duration. Past half health, he starts using jumping projectile attacks in a set of three with a conical trajectory.
Combat Puppet: No. 56

Advance ahead to get to the next level, where you meet your third challenge – number 56. He uses a spear to fight, that he can extend forward for medium-range attacks. You must be extra cautious of his other attack, where he spins his spear and damages in close range all around him. This attack deals serious damage to your health bar if you get caught in it, leaving you well below half HP. Once he is down to half health, he will use an additional three combo move: two consecutive forward attacks, followed up by a massive slam-down attack.
Combat Puppet: No. 7

On the fourth level, you will find No. 7, who is your final challenge. Make sure you have stacked up on your healing items, as this is a tough boss fight. Her attacks are fast and deal a lot of damage, so you need to practice your parry/dodge timing. She rushes forward with a circular blade swing, and follows it up with a spinning aerial attack. She also uses basic moves like a forward or upper slash from time to time. The strongest move in her skill set is rapid forward strikes, where she performs an attack very similar to Vergil’s “Judgement Cut” from Devil May Cry 5.
Once you have defeated all the combat puppets, a cutscene will play showing how exactly they ended up in the arena. After the cutscene, a brief dialogue takes place and you are rewarded with No. 7’s cooldown ability for completing the arena.
