One of the best features of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is that it features a lot of impactful decisions that decide the type of endings you will get. This gives the game a lot of replayability value and keeps it fun to play throughout.
This article will tell you about all the impactful decisions you will have to make throughout Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and how they will affect the ending you get.
Deciding Henry’s Reputation

The only thing you can do throughout the game that will impact your ending is how you decide to take on your quests and other challenges. If you choose to kill people without any reason, steal, or perform any sort of crime in general, it will hurt Henry’s reputation and will also have an impact on whether his parents feel proud of him or not in the end.
Henry’s Parents Feel Proud Of Him
If you want to achieve the ending where Henry’s parents are proud of him, focus on doing more good than bad. You can still commit some ‘bad’ acts such as the occasional robbing or murder but you will need to keep it to a low if you want to make his parents proud. If you manage to achieve this ending, Henry’s parents will praise him and tell them how proud they are of him.
Henry’s Parents Are Disappointed In Him

This ending is a lot sadder in comparison and it ends in Henry’s father brutally insulting him and then leaving. Sadly, this ending is also a lot easier to achieve and it is the one that most people get. You will be able to easily get this ending by committing more acts of treachery and crime than good. Some of the story-related decisions you make will also have an impact on whether his parents are proud or disappointed in him.
Story-Related Decisions
Unlike Henry’s reputation, which will be decided by your actions throughout the game, these story-related moments will be special impactful decisions that you will have to take which will decide what ending you get.
Saving The Semines Or Hashek

This decision will need to be made pretty early on in the game in comparison to the others, but it can have a huge impact on your potential ending. Once you reach the Semine estate and a fight breaks out, you will have the option of sticking with the Semines or siding with Hashem, which will cause all the Semines to be killed and the estate to be burned.
Saving the Semines will also lead to the estate eventually being burnt as you will have to use it as a cover for betraying Von Bergow, but it is going to be the best decision in the end if you want to get one of the better endings.
Saving Maleshov Or Fighting The Dry Devil
Once you reach the village with the Dry Devil, you will have to either decide to fight him or stand against him and save the village of Maleshov. If you decide to stand with the Devil, then the rest of this mission will be very easy as you will simply have to fight a small group of soldiers and kill them while he burns down Maleshov.
Going against him is the better option here as even though it will make this mission harder, it will help you become more honorable in the long run and will lead you to the better ending. Just keep in mind that fighting the Devil will be a lot tougher but it is still the much better option.
Reckoning Decisions
The second to last chapter of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is titled Reckoning and it is the one that matters the most to decide which ending you get.
Killing Or Sparing Brabant

Once you have defeated Brabant in a fight in this mission, you will get the choice of either killing him or sparing him. If you choose to kill him, Henry will slice him down and the mission will progress. But if you choose to spare him, he will run for help and call guards for backup. Although you can still kill him as easily, this will make your disguise a lot weaker and you will have to fight a lot more guards.
While it might seem like the easy and wise choice to just kill Brabant at first, it will decrease Henry’s honor so you should spare Brabant when you first get the choice, no matter how tough it might make the mission.
Dealing With Von Aulitz
There are quite a few ways you can deal with Von Aulitz but only one of them is the best if you want a positive ending for Henry and if you want to keep his honor high.
- Not finding Von Aulitz – There is no compulsion to find Von Aulitz as it will be an optional objective, and rather than wasting your time you can just progress the mission and let him be.
- Killing Von Aulitz Honorably – You may also choose to find Von Aulitz and put him out of his misery by stabbing and killing him.
- Killing Von Aulitz Dishonorably – Or you can choose to just stab him while he is sitting in his chair which will be a lot more dishonorable and is not recommended.
- Sparing Von Aulitz – You can also choose to find Von Aulitz at first and then leave after having a conversation with him. This will be the choice you should take if you want the best ending as Von Aulitz will die anyway and it will keep Henry’s honor high as he isn’t the one killing him.
Saving Or Leaving Samuel

This is the final choice that you will have to make in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and it won’t be an easy one. Once you have found the horses according to the quest objective in Reckoning, you will have the choice of either saving Samuel or leaving without him.
Samuel will ask you to leave him alone and this will be the easier choice as you will be able to easily escape and get help quicker, but you will also find out that Samuel was hung by the Praguers and you will have to go to deal with his body once the battle is over.
You should ideally save Samuel even if it will make the mission a lot harder as you will have to try and remain inconspicuous. This will make the journey a lot slower and it will mean that the Praguers would have taken the Silver from Suchedol during the time but at least Samuel would be alive. This is one of the few choices that won’t impact your honor and is mostly about whether you want Samuel to be with you till the end or not.
The Early Secret Ending

There is also a secret ending you can get in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 which is unlocked in the Neccesarry Evil main quest. This ending is also only possible to achieve if you have decided to side with the Semines during the raid on Semine.
In this quest, once you begin talking to Lord Otto von Bergow, you will get the choice of condemning the massacre. staying silent or admitting that you killed the Burgrave. If you choose this last option and confess to killing the Burgrave, this will lead to a cutscene where Henry is being hung in front of a crowd and you will get a Game Over screen.
Is There A Best Ending In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?
There really isn’t a thing such as a best ending in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 but most players would ideally like to get the ending where Henry’s parents are proud of him as it is a lot more rarer than the other. Most players would also obviously like to save Samuel even if it doesn’t really have a big impact on the ending and is just a matter of your preference.
You can also choose to go down the darker path if you like and be as dishonorable as possible as it is totally up to you to decide what sort of ending you would like to have.
