Valley of the Kings is the fifth level in Tomb Raider 4 Remastered and it is one of the shortest ones as well. As a result, there are only three Secret items in this level, and they are all mostly easy to find, especially if you follow the instructions below
This article will guide you through all the Secrets in the Valley of the Kings level in Tomb Raider 4 Remastered and tell you where exactly you can find them.
All Secrets In Valley of the Kings Tomb Raider 4 Remastered
As mentioned above, there are only three secrets in this level and while the first two are very simple to find, the third one can prove to be a challenge as it requires a slightly specific sequence of actions. Below are the locations of all the three Secrets in Valley of the Kings:
Secret No. 1
You can grab the first Secret in Valley of the Kings as soon as you have dealt with all the mercenaries at the start of the mission and grabbed the Ignition Key. Look to the burial chamber towards the southeast corner, as seen in the image above, and climb the slightly hidden raised platform to its left when facing it. Keep jumping onto the successive platform along the side of the rocks and you will get to a ledge on the top of this Chamber. Here, you will be able to pick up the first Secret in the form of 2 boxes of Shotgun Shells, a Small Medipack, and a Uzi clip.
Secret No. 2
Drop down from this platform and look towards the right-hand side of the same Chamber, and there will be a hidden alcove that you can climb up on. Keep following this hidden alcove and pick up the Shotgun as well as the two boxes of Shotgun Shells to complete the second Secret in Valley of the Kings.
Secret No. 3
Once you have gotten into the car and driven past the open area with the two mercenaries, you will come across a slope as shown in the image above. Kill the mercenary on the bridge on top of the slope and then get out of your car. Don’t worry about having to follow the Land Rover with the guard as that won’t be an issue.
On the road in the middle right before the ramp starts, there will be a pit with spikes that you need to enter if you want to find the third and last Secret in this level. Rather than just jumping into the pit and dying, walk towards this pit slowly and you will see that it has climbable walls. Shimmy down the wall and move right before climbing up into the entrance as seen in the image below.
Crawl through this pathway and drop down to find the last Secret in the form of a box of Super Grenades and a Small Medipack. Walk back up the pathway and then climb back up the wall to resume the mission, after which you will need to jump over the ramp with the car to proceed.
