Pets and Animals make any game a lot better and Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza handles this part of the game brilliantly. You can find different animals all across the map, and you can collect and bring them back to Goro Majima’s Animal Kingdom, where you will have to take care of them and they will provide you with rewards.

How To Collect All Animals In Pirate Yakuza
There are a total of 11 animals you can collect in Pirate Yakuza. The first three of these are automatically obtained as part of the main storyline, while the rest can be found throughout the map. These animals are found in Goro’s Animal Kingdom and can be fed with pet food to level up their Friendship Meter.
They will provide you with better rewards the more they are levelled up, which makes them a good source for food rather than just some cute additions to the Kingdom.
Goro
Goro, the tiny tiger is the first Pet you will acquire in Pirate Yakuza and he will join you right from the beginning of the game. Not only does Goro make for good company, but he also provides you with rewards including Rabbit Meat, Pheasant Meat, and Bear Meat depending on how much you level him up. These rewards will appear in the Goro Goro Kitchen and can then be used to make food.
Phoenix
Phoenix will also be a part of the storyline and he will be acquired very early on in the game as well after Majima saves him. This animal will be given to you at Stella’s Shop where you can also purchase Pet Food to keep your animals fed. Phoenix will provide you with plenty of Eggs throughout your adventures in Pirate Yakuza.
Onigiri
Ongiri the cat is also unlocked as a part of the game’s storyline in The Kitten in District Five substory. Noah will come across her while exploring District Five and Goro will eventually adopt him and bring it back to his Kingdom. Onigiri will provide you with different types of fish such as Aweoweo and Oarfish as rewards.
Alarm Cluck
Head to the intersection between Ayame Street and Fuji Street next to find Alarm Cluck the Rooster, who has been annoying the residents nearby. There will be an apartment complex here with a sleep-deprived man with Alarm Cluck next to him. Knock out the man and Alarm Cluck will join your roster of Animals to provide you with some fresh Eggs.
CoCo
CoCo the Chimpanzee is found east of Aloha Bridge, near the bottom of River Street. He will be sitting on top of a tree and there will be a woman in front of it. Speak to the woman and agree to help her, after which you will have to go through three different options to try and bring CoCo down from the tree. Once you have gone through all three options, CoCo will agree to come down and join your crew, where he will provide you with different fruits such as Coconut, Mango, and Pineapple as rewards.
Turtle
Turtle the dog is also found near River Street, to the bridge north of Aloha Street. The dog will be getting bullied by a few goons, whom you will have to beat up to rescue him. Turtle will join Goro’s Kingdom and bring back Flounder, Salmon, and Mahi Mahi as rewards.
Allure
Allure will be found to the west of the Anaconda Shopping Center, near L&L Hawaiian Barbecue and while it may be easy to spot, it is not easy to convince the feline to join you. To do so, you will need to head to Liber Tea, which is pretty close by, and find a silver Treasure Box located next to it. This box will have the Goromi Outfit, which you will have to wear to convince Allure to join the Kingdom. Allure will also provide the same rewards as other cats, which will be different types of fish.
Zoomies
Zoomies the dog will be found in the Harbour District, to the south of Downtown Street. He will be running around on the docks and you will have to agree to help the man trying to catch him. Once you get close to Zoomies, choose the prompt to approach the dog slowly, and you will be able to eventually catch him. Zoomies will also provide you with the same rewards as Turtle does.
Sanzen
Sanzen is a cow that will be found in Sunset Park near Kolonahe Street. Head to the Animal Rescue marker located here on the map, and a random person will approach you asking if you want to buy a cow. Pay this person $3000 and you will now have a cow in your Kingdom to provide you with some good quality fresh milk.
Barkley
Barkley is another dog that you can add to your Kingdom in Pirate Yakuza. Head to the Anaconda Shopping Center and look for its northern entrance to find a woman kneeling next to a white dog. All you have to do is approach this woman and talk to her, and then get some Pet Food for the dog Barkley. Once you feed him with some Pet Food, he will join your Kingdom and provide you with the same rewards as other dogs.
The Gourmand
The last animal that you can get to join the Kingdom is The Gourmand, which is found to the east of the Anaconda Shopping Center near the river. This dog will be hungry and he will only eat Wild Caught Sashimi. To find this, head to the beach and jump in to then catch some Sashimi by your hands. As you swim over some fish, you will get the prompt to catch them and you can do so and then feed the dog to add him to your collection.
