There are plenty of new and challenging quests to complete in the new Eeerie season of Infinifty Nikki, and the Strange Hissing Streetlamp Quest is one of them. While this quest itself isn’t too hard to complete, it has certain prerequisites needed to unlock it that can be challenging to figure out.
This article will tell you all about the Strange Hissing Streetlamp Quest in Infinity Nikki, including how you can complete it and all the prerequisites required to start and end it.
How To Start The Strange Hissing Streetlamp Quest
There are two prerequisites that you need to complete before you can start the Strange Hissing Streetlamp Quest in Infinity Nikki. These include completing two of the Quests in the Eerie Season Event, after which this Quest will be unlocked.
The two Quests that you need to complete include:
- In The Depths of Night – this is one of the quests in the Song of the Lost questline and is unlocked in Florawish as a part of the 1.3 Update. Note that this is an Exclusive Quest for now, and needs to be completed within a certain number of days before it completely disappears.
- The Song of the Lost – This quest is also a part of the same questline and will be unlocked right after you complete the In The Depths of Night Quest.
Once you have completed both of these Event Quests, you can head to the Event Menu and select the Tales of Mystery option to start the Strange Hissing Streetlamp Quest in Infinity Nikki.
How To Complete The Strange Hissing Streetlamp Quest
After you have selected the quest in the Events Menu, you will find its starting location near the house with the broken lamp post in Florawish. Simply follow the tracker on your map to get there easily.
After reaching this location, find and speak to the Croaker in front of the house. Note that he will only be available at night between 22:00 and 4:00 in-game time. The Croaker will tell Nikki about the broken streetlamp and his attempts at fixing it, and Nikki will eventually agree to help him out and fix it herself.
To fix this streetlamp, Nikki will need to don the Electrician Outfit, which you can do by opening the Ability Outfit Screen. Select the Electrician Outfit in this screen, click on it, and then equip it, after which Nikki will be able to go up to the lamp post and fix it.
To fix the lamp post, you will need to complete a short mini-game, which you should be used to if you have played through some of the previous quests in the game. This puzzle will thankfully be very intuitive and all you have to do here is change around the wiring in each column until you can join both the circuits.
Solve this mini-puzzle and the lamp post will be fixed for a few seconds, after which the lamp post will break and you will have to do the same puzzle all over again. Complete this puzzle once more and move away from it for a few seconds after it, and the lamp post will start sparking once again. You will need to then complete this puzzle for the third and final time to fix the lamp post once and for all.
This will then lead to a cutscene and you will have to sit through a few dialogues for the mission to eventually end and to receive your rewards.
What Are The Rewards For The Strange Hissing Streetlamp Quest In Infinity Nikki?
Even though this Quest isn’t that challenging, you still get plenty of good rewards for completing it, as it is a part of a limited-time Event. These are the following rewards that you can pick up as a reward for completing the Strange Hissing Streetlamp Quest:
- 10 Lampblooms
- 30 Diamonds
- 100 Shiny Bubbles
- 150 Threads of Purity
Items like Lampblooms and Threads of Purity can be very helpful as crafting materials which definitely makes it worth completing this quest.
