The waves of zombies in BO6 are very hard to deal with and the Gold Armor introduced in the Tomb map makes it a lot easier with its regenerative abilities. But as good as it is, it is also very tough to obtain and you’re going to have to kill a lot of zombies if you want to get your hands on this armor.
This article will tell you all about the Gold Armor in Black Ops 6 Zombies and how you can get it. We will also tell you about all its benefits and how it’s going to help you out.
How To Get Gold Armor In BO6 Zombies The Tomb Map

You get the Gold Armor in BO6 Zombies by defeating Elite Variants of enemies that spawn as part of the Blood Ritual in the Dark Aether Nexus. The steps for getting through all of this are detailed below, so let’s get started.
How To Start The Blood Rituals In BO6 Zombies

To start the Blood Rituals, you must first acquire the statue heads which are found in the Dark Aether Nexus area where you also find the Pack-a-Punch machine. The statue heads are in two wooden boxes in this area:
- The first box is near the Jugger-Nog
- The second one is found near the Ossuary Portal in the Aether Nexus area
- Once you have collected both these heads, you can come back to the Spawn or Dig Site area to place them on their statues
The statues where you have to place these heads are located at:
- The first statue is found near the PhD Flopper towards the southwest side of the Dig Site.
- The second one can be found near the portal to the Dark Aether Nexus in the Roman Mausoleum area of the Dig Site.
- Interact with them to place their heads on top of them.
The Blood Rituals can be started by pressing the Interact button at either one of those statues but only after you have placed both heads on them.
How To Complete The Blood Rituals

The first Blood Ritual puts you up against Elite Versions of the Mimic, which are a special kind of Zombie we have seen across plenty of Black Ops games. The second Blood Ritual features the Doppelghasts, which are special enemies who have been introduced specially for this map in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
What makes these fights especially hard is that these enemies have a very high health pool and you will have only 1 HP. Players will also have a dark red mist surrounding them which makes it even harder to look around and spot enemies. The challenging nature of this fight means you will have to be well-prepared with your gear and the right Perks if you want to have a chance of winning these fights.
The Right Build For Blood Rituals In BO6 Zombies
In terms of gear, we recommend a tier 3 Pack-a-Punch weapon as well as a Legendary gun. You will also be very reliant on your armor as your HP will be limited to 1 so having a tier 3 armor should be your first priority. If you have not done that already, now would be absolutely the best time to get the tier 3 Armor Vest from the Subterranean Temple. It will set you back by some 14k Essence, but save a lot of pain later.
There are a variety of Perks you can go with that can be helpful in this battle but the ones we recommend the most are the Killjoy Gobblegum, Stamina Up, and Quick Revive if you’re taking on this challenge with friends. Gobblgum is always helpful for making sure regular Zombies don’t get in your way and Stamina Up will give you the much-needed stamina for completing these Rituals.
The key to winning these fights is constantly moving around and picking the correct timing to attack the enemies. As you are very low on HP, take your time to stay as safe as possible just to make sure you avoid getting hit. Another thing to be aware of is to keep plenty of ammo in reserve as the high HPs of the Mimics and the Doppelghasts can take a lot of ammo to shoot down. It is also recommended to do these Rituals in co-op as it takes a lot more time if you’re going solo.
There are also a few exploits you can use such as using Scorestreaks or calling down a Chopper Gunner as soon as you start the Ritual but we expect these to be patched soon.
How To Collect The Gold Armor In BO6 Zombies
Once you have defeated both of the Blood Rituals, go to the bull statues near the Dig Site area where the Pack-a-Punch can spawn at times. There will be a yellow beam of light emitting into this room, follow this light to the wall on the right side of the room to find the Gold Armor. All the players in the game can pick up this armor and equip it by interacting with it.
What Are The Benefits Of The Gold Armor In BO6 Zombies?

What makes the Gold Armor in BO6 Zombies so good is that it keeps regenerating itself after every five seconds of not being hit. This also applies to the Armor cores, which also don’t need to be replaced manually and will automatically keep regenerating themselves. It is definitely worth it to get this Gold Armor even if it can be a struggle to get.
There is a chance that you will have to replay the Blood Rituals a few times to successfully complete them but your effort will be worth it in the end as this armor will help you complete a lot more Easter Eggs and survive a lot more waves of even the toughest zombies.
