The new Heresy Update in Destiny 2 has added a lot of new secrets that you can find located all across the Dreadnaught in the Nether region. Finding all of these secrets helps you make progress in the Descent into Dread Triumph which will be one of the objectives you need to complete to get the Heretic Title.
This article will tell you the exact locations of all the secrets located in the different parts of the Dreadnaught and how you can claim them all.
All The Dreadnaught Secrets In The Trenchway
There are a few secrets located in the Trenchway area and you can find them all by following the instructions below. Once you get to these areas, you usually have to complete some activity to unlock the achievements as well as the chests.
Urn No. 1
Head to the end of the dock/platform area in the Trenchway and locate the disk-like torches shown in the image above. There will be three of these discs nearby and you have to investigate them all to spawn a Vorok. Defeating this Vorok will unlock a secret chest at the end of the platform which you can then claim.
Toland Secret
Nearby to where you found the first urn, you will find the spirit of Toland in the form of an orb of light. This orb will change location once you get close to it and all you have to do is keep following it until it leads you to a chest. Do note that while many people have found Toland in this area, his spawn location can be a lot more random though he will eventually lead you to a chest if you keep following his orbs.
Urn No. 2
The second urn in the Nether can be found in the ravine area, on a pillar-like platform shown in the image above. There will be two urns on this platform that you will need to investigate, which will spawn an Ogre Ascendent. Once you defeat this monster, you can claim your loot along with the Essence of Desire chests also located there.
Invisible Platforms
Also in the ravine area, you can find the invisible platforms which are located near one of the Ravenous Wormspawns. You can use your radar to figure out where these platforms are and simply jump onto them. Keep following these platforms for a while, even past the tunnel with the Essence of Desire chest in it. There will be an opening in the wall towards the end where you can enter at the top and you have to follow it to find this secret chest.
All The Dreadnaught Secrets In The Hall Of Souls
There are also four secrets located in the Hall of Souls and plenty of other collectibles such as the Ravenous Wormspawns. These secrets are easier to find in comparison and can be located by following the given instructions.
Toland
Similarly to the Trenchway, the spawn location of Toland can be random so all you have to do is follow him once you find him and he will eventually lead you to the secret chest which you will be able to claim easily.
The Urns
The Urn in the Hall of Souls in the Nether is located just below the teleporter. Find the disc-like objects once again and investigate them all to spawn a Vorok once again. Defeating this Vorok will present you with a secret chest just like the one in the Trenchway.
The Jumping Platform Secret
There is also a jumping platform secret that can be located in this area by jumping on the rocks behind the teleporter and then onto it. You need to use your radar here to find the invisible platforms and then jump on them to make your way to the top. The last platform will be located next to a small-bridge-like area connecting a bunch of pipes. You will find this secret on top of this place.
The Ravenous Secret
Once you have claimed the above secret, you need to find the Ravenous Hive located nearby. You will then have to lure a Ravenous and take him into the nearby area where there will be three Hive Worms. Leave the Ravenous alone with these worms and go to another room to hide. This will cause the Ravenous to become super-charged. You then need to defeat this Super-Charged Ravenous to unlock the final secret chest of this region.
All The Dreadnaught Secrets In The Mausoleum
The Mausoleum also has four hidden secret chests along with its other hidden items such as the different Ravenous Wormspawns and the Essence of Desire Chests.
Toland
Similarly to the first two locations, Toland should be pretty easy to find in this region as well and all you need to do when you find his orb of light is follow it until it leads you to the final chest.
The Urns
Head to the area where you find the main boss in the Mausoleum, and there will be a raised platform far above it, which is used to jump down to the boss arena. You will find the three urns here which you can investigate to spawn the Vorok. You will be able to find the chest as soon as you kill this monster.
The Dire Phalanx
Jump down to the boss arena once you finish the above secret. Here you will find a few bright orb-like creatures suspended on the tentacle-like structures. You can shoot these down to spawn the Dire Phalanx, which you will then have to kill. Once you kill 4 of these, you will unlock another secret chest for this area.
The Dark Transfer
Head to the teleporter area and jump down to enter the side passage shown in the image above. Keep going straight and take the first right and you will come across the Dark Transfer machine. You will then be able to swap some of your HP to receive a chest in return.
All The Dreadnaught Secrets In The Fount
The Fount only has three hidden secrets that we have been able to find as of now but we will be updating this article as soon as we find the last one. One of these is also the toughest secret yet and has confused a lot of players of Destiny 2.
Toland
As the Founts is a relatively small area, you will easily be able to find Toland in it and follow his orb till you come across the secret chest.
The Runes
Head left from the spawn area to come across a room with different pods in it. You will be able to spot three hive symbols in this room through a window, which you will need to remember or take a photo of. You can then head to the room right next to it, find the containers with these symbols on them, and shoot the right ones to unlock the chest. Every time you shoot the wrong pods, some monsters will spawn so you can also use the process of trial and error but that might take you a while.
The Secret Passage
In this room, there will also be a hive rune in one of the corners that can be shot to reveal a secret hidden chest. You will be able to spot this chest once you shoot this rune and you can then simply claim it.
