The Packed Lunch quest is a part of the limited-time Past of Prologue event which was released on the 21st of January and will last till the 4th of February. While this quest isn’t too hard to complete, it does have some amazing rewards that make it worth completing for all Destiny 2 players.
This article will tell you all about the Packed Lunch Quest in Destiny 2, from how you can complete it easily to the different rewards it comes with.
How To Complete The Packed Lunch Quest In Destiny 2

The main goal of the Packed Lunch quest in Destiny 2 is to earn five Bento Tokens by completing five Bento Boxes. This can be done by checking the Limited-Time Event banner with the Drifter and completing the available quests. You can complete all of these quests to earn a Bento Token per quest. Although some endgame quests can also earn you two of these tokens.
These quests will keep updating through the two weeks of the event, as there are only four of them you can complete now. You can also purchase some additional quests from Xur this upcoming weekend. The quests themselves are very simple to complete and can be easily done by following the given tips:
Nightmare Lunch
The objective of this Drifter quest is to earn 60 points just by completing activities on the moon, which can easily be done by defeating Nightmare Bosses. A relatively simple way of doing this quest is by completing the Nightmare Hunts, which won’t take too much of your time and will provide you with a high score as well. You can complete three of these Nightmare Hunts to complete this quest.
The Stuff Of Legends
This quest rewards you with 2 Bento Tokens if you finish 2 final encounters in a dungeon or a raid, with raids providing an additional bonus. The easiest way to complete this quest is by heading to the Altars of Sorrow in the Sorrow Harbour of the Moon and using a weapon such as a Witherhoard to find groups of enemies to target and destroy. You should be able to easily complete this quest by heading to any other dungeon or raid as well.
Martial Mementos
The Martial Mementos quest requires you to get 100 kills while using any one of these weapons :
- Malfeasance
- Witherhoard
- Touch of Malice
- Whisper of the Worm
- Xenophage
- Arbalest
Once again, if you have managed to obtain a Witherhoard, then the Altars of Sorrow can be a great way to get this quest done as well, especially as you can take up all of the quests at the same time. You can find this weapon in the Exotic Kiosk, and it is quite fun to use as well as being very effective at killing enemies. This weapon will be able to wipe down hundreds of enemies in a short time so you can move on to the next quest.
A Dubious Bento

The final quest as of now is called A Dubious Bento and requires you to collect Century Eggs and Dubious Celery. The Century Eggs can easily be obtained by enemies slain on the moon while completing the previous quests and the Dubious Celery can be obtained by killing enemies in Gambit. These items have a high drop-rate so you won’t have to worry about waiting too long to capture them.
What Are The Rewards For Completing The Packed Lunch Quest In Destiny 2?

Although you can use your Bento Tokens to buy plenty of items, the reward for completing the Packed Lunch Quest in Destiny 2 is the Chatterwhite Shaders. Spend 5 Bento Tokens to purchase from all the great options available at Eris Morn; and then head to the Drifter and speak to him. Next, go to the Vending Machine (located just outside the Ada-1 room) and you will unlock your reward. While this is a purely cosmetic item, it is a very rare and legendary Shader that was only available for a brief time a few years ago. Many Destiny 2 fans are excited to get their hands on these Shaders and completing the Packed Lunch limited-time quest is the only way to receive them.
