Unleash Beast Power! is one of the new custom battles that has been added to Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero with the Hero of Justice DLC. This battle puts up the beast form of Gohan against his father Goku in his Ultra Instinct variant. While this is one of the easier custom battles in the game, a lot of players have been struggling with it as it requires precise timing and execution.
This article will tell you how exactly you can beat the Unleash Beast Power! custom battle in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero and give you some tips to make this fight a lot easier.
How To Beat Ultra Instinct Goku In Unleash Beast Power!
The key to beating Unleash Beast Power! in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is to transform into the Beast form of Gohan at the right time. There will be a time window of around 20 seconds after Goku says “Are you alright?” to Gohan in which you will have to transform into his superhero form. If you don’t do this, then you won’t be able to complete the mission no matter what.
This is probably the toughest part of the fight and once you figure out the correct timing, you shouldn’t have too much problem with the rest of the battle but we will still give you some general tips that you can use to make the Ultra Instinct Goku fight a lot easier.
Some Tips To Beat Ultra Instinct Goku
You will have roughly 30 seconds from the start of the fight till Goku says the voice line that will be the trigger for you to transform. This means that you have to build up two Skill Points so that you can easily transform into Gohan’s Beast version at the correct time.
The best way to do this is to just fly around and let Goku hit you with some of his attacks without blocking them. While this may bring your HP down, it is the easiest way to make sure you don’t lose the battle while also building up your Skill Counter. You can also use other moves such as your Ki Blasts and your counters if you’re running low on health and still need to increase your Skill Points.
After Transforming Into Beast Gohan
Once you have transformed into Beast Gohan, the rest of the fight should be pretty intuitive. The main goal is to fly around and avoid as many of Goku’s attacks as possible while fighting back with your own. You will have roughly 2-3 minutes to complete this battle and this should be pretty simple as long as you focus on using your sparking mode and not letting Goku build up his Ki Gauge.
Beast Gohan’s Explosive Flash is one of his best abilities and lets him disappear right in front of his opponents and launches them away while also dealing damage to them. This should be used whenever possible against Ultra Instinct Goku as it is a good way to close distance as well as deal damage. You can also use this move in combination with his Guess It’s My Turn ability to further increase its damage output.
Dodging Goku’s Ultimate is also going to be a key to winning this battle on time. Goku is also able to auto-dodge your attacks if he builds up his Ki Gauge which can make the fight extremely tough so you will always have to keep an eye out for that.
Once you have worn down Goku enough so that he is on the yellow HP bars, you can use your Ultimate Special Beam Cannon to finish him off. Pair this up with either Explosive Flash or Guess It’s My Turn or even both if you can to have a sure-fire way to complete the Unleash Beast Power! Bonus Battle in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.
