Luiseach the Iron Witch is considered to be one of the hardest boss fights in the Ender Magnolia community. She is hard to reach and has a unique ability that you don’t get to see in bosses too often; she can heal herself. Where To Find Luiseach In Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist
Luiseach is located in the northwest part of the Sorcerer’s Sanctum, beside the Respite with a giant, dried out, white tree. After fast traveling here, head left and you will spot Luiseach standing in an open field, worried about something. After a brief conversation, you will notice she seems confused after which she will turn hostile.
How To Defeat Luiseach In Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist
You need to keep up with Luiseach’s strong repositioning technique to defeat her. She keeps in the air and never touches the ground, unless you make her. She is also very quick, so you need to be perfect with your parries to stay alive. Like most bosses in the game, she also has three phases, and you will know she is about to perform a special attack by the glowing eyes.
Additionally, her second and third phases trigger at two-thirds and half health respectively.
Phase 1
- Shoots fire balls in bursts of four that follow you around.
- A spinning broom attack with a short range.
- A stationary spiral blaze in the direction she is facing.
Phase 2 (Adds attacks from Phase 1)
- Summons flying minions, that heal Luiseach and deal damage later.
- A blaze cyclone in the direction she is facing.
Phase 3 (Adds attacks from Phases 1 and 2)
- Shoots multiple fireballs in a medium range with rapid succession
- A blaze cyclone in both directions.
- 3x combo of the spinning broom attack.
Tips To Fight Luiseach In Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist
Luiseach is an extremely quick Homunculi, so you need to be quick as well. However, unlike most bosses, even her projectiles can be parried. Only her blaze attacks are actually harmful to you, and the rest can be handled with good timing and practice. Additionally, you can knock her out of the sky on occasion by parrying the spinning broom attack. We recommend equipping Munin, Lito, and Yolvan. By using these Homunculi, you can concentrate solely on parrying while dishing out damage with auto attacks.
Parrying will get you through the entire first phase of this boss fight. If you use the recommended Homunculi, you won’t need to get close, so don’t worry about the attacks that can’t be parried. The parry timing is tough, and you will likely get punished for it on several occasions. However, if you were to master it, the first phase is a breeze – even on the highest difficulty.
The second phase is where the real challenge begins. Luiseach’s minions heal her a substantial amount, and while they don’t deal a lot of damage, it is an annoying poking tool. It would seem pretty basic to eliminate the minions first, however, even staggering them is a great option to stop them from healing.
Her third phase is tough, and you have to think fast to dodge and parry the attacks. It is better to dodge her fireball attacks this time, as they come in such quick succession that your parry animation for the first won’t finish before the other fireball comes. Additionally, she also uses the blaze cyclone in both directions, so you need to practice dashing through them with perfect timing.
After defeating Luiseach, a cutscene plays out and you will receive the Lament trophy and Luiseach’s Pressure ability. This ability will be active and follow you around while dealing damage and inflicting various status effects.
