Eternal Strands has a lot of different mechanics for the players to explore. The game also has various status types, which adds to the complexity. You need to have the right armor if you decide to go against the boss that deals specific kind of damage. In this guide, we will take you through crafting high-resistance armors and achieving the Firewalker and Stay Frosty achievements.
How To Get The Firewalker & Stay Frosty Trophies In Eternal Strands
You need to craft an armor piece with high heat and cold resistance to get the Firewalker and Stay Frosty trophy respectively. We recommend that you save up the effort for getting this trophy to end game, as by this time you will have the required resources to pull this off easily. Fortunately, this trophy can be achieved right in your base – provided you have the necessary materials.
There are a lot of items in the game you can use to get the trophy, however the Glass Tail Fur and Cinder Infused Linen are sure to give you success. The armor piece you craft must at least provide 50% resistance (of the status of your choosing) for it to count towards the trophy. You can obtain the Glass Tail Fur from Brennig Glasstail and Cinder Infused Linen from Ark of the Living Flame.
If you are going for the Firewalker first, choose an armor with high base resistance to fire; Cinder Infused Linen in this case. Talk to Casmyn to salvage unnecessary materials for camp supplies, then use them to trade for other items with high fire resistance.
Now talk to Sola to level up the armor piece with your newly acquired materials. At level 1, the base resistance is 40%. Once you get to level 3, the resistance reaches 50%, and the trophy will pop up. You need to repeat the same process for Stay Frosty, just use Glass Tail Fur or other materials that have high base resistance to cold.
Note: You can also use the Chillfeather Weave obtained from Highland Iceclaw, or Ceramic Braided Linen from Ark of the Forge/Albalest to secure the achievement.
