Heroes of Hammerwatch II is a much-anticipated sequel of Heroes of Hammerwatch and was released on 14 Jan 2025. It features several characters with different playstyles, catering to all kinds of players. The game encourages players to try all the classes, as each class comes with its own unique perks and hence playstyle. In this article, we cover all classes in Heroes of Hammerwatch II and their specializations.

All Classes In Heroes of Hammerwatch II

There are a total of seven classes in Heroes of Hammerwatch II. However, only four classes are unlocked initially, with the rest of the three to be found through exploration. Once you get to level 10 with your character, you can specialize in one of three categories specific to that class. Each specialization grants an additional active and passive ability, and you can swap between each specialization whenever you want.

Furthermore, when your character meets a certain level requirement, you get bonuses called “Titles”, that are effective for the entire roster. For example, if reaching level 12 on the Rogue class gives 10% attack power, it will be active if you play another character with the Sorcerer class.

Switching Specializations In Heroes Of Hammerwatch II

If you put a certain number of Skill Points in 1 of the 3 specializations for that class (e.g.; Conjuration for the Wizard class); but you don’t find it particularly worthwhile or adding value to your playstyle, you can choose another one (let’s say Evocation), and you get all the Skill Points you allocated to Conjuration available to now allocate to Evocation skills. This way, the game encourages you to try out all the specializations and see what works best for you.

And that completes all the skill details for each of the classes in the game. There is also a leveling system for NG+ cycles in Heroes of Hammerwatch II, do check our guide on this.
