Silver Moon? Crimson Moon? is a quest available in the new region Rinascita in Wuthering Waves, which was added in patch 2.0 on 2nd January 2025 called “All Silent Souls Can Sing”. This quest, like a lot of other quests in the game, is hidden and does not show up in your log until you begin it. In this guide, we will go over all the details related to Silver Moon? Crimson Moon? and how to finish the quest.

How To Unlock Silver Moon? Crimson Moon? In Wuthering Waves
You can unlock Silver Moon? Crimson Moon? by playing through the main story, up until the quest called “Through the Sea Thou Break”. This quest takes you to Rinascita, where you must unlock Whisperwind Haven’s Resonance Nexus. Once you have done this, you can begin the hidden quest.
How To Complete Silver Moon? Crimson Moon? In Wuthering Waves
To complete Silver Moon? Crimson Moon? in Wuthering Waves, summon and defeat The Knight of Crimson Moon by finding five knights and their swords, and returning them to their respective pedestals. All these knights are in a fairly close vicinity of each other, but each has their own separate fight.
1) Knight of Cowardice & Sword of Courage
This knight is the easiest to find, as he is located around your first fast travel point in Rinascita. Go to the Whisperwind Haven Resonance Beacon and head northwest, where you will find Knight of Cowardice hiding in the bushes. Interact with him, and he will tell you to get rid of a group of Plushies nearby.
After the conversation, turn around and go straight, where you will find a gang of hostile Plushies surrounding a sword. Dispose of the Plushies and pick up the Sword of Courage.
2) Knight of Greed & Sword of Generosity
To the north of Mistveil Bay, you come across an area with Fractsidus enemies. This is where you will find the Knight of Greed. Defeat all the enemies in the area, and interact with one of three chests, and he will appear behind you. Eliminate him (which is fairly easy to do) and you will receive the Sword of Generosity. Also, make sure to loot the remaining chests before you leave.
3) Knight of Atrocity & Sword of Mercy
The Knight of Atrocity can be found fighting a group Fractsidus enemies, in a clearing northeast of the Abyss of Initiation Forgery Challenge. Approach him and it will trigger a cutscene, after which you will fight him as well. Defeat him in combat, and you obtain the Sword of Mercy.
4) Knight of Vanity & Sword of Honor
Fast travel to the beacon east of Egla town, then proceed south towards the large bridge. While on the bridge, you will see the Knight of Vanity in two forms fighting against each other. After you approach, they challenge you to a duel. Note that both of them share the same health bar, so it is best to divide the focus of your attacks. Defeat them to receive the Sword of Honor.
5) Knight of Ignorance & Sword of Wisdom
For the final knight, go to Silent Moon Grove. Fast travel to the Resonance Nexus and keep going south, eventually you will find the Knight of Ignorance standing near a riverbank. After this boss battle, you will obtain the last sword — the Sword of Wisdom.
Summon the Knight of Crimson Moon
Turn back from the riverbank, and head back to find five pedestals scattered around a pond. You can place these swords in any order, and if done correctly, you’ll get a prompt saying “Silver Moon? Crimson Moon? discovered. You can now fast travel to this location”. A cutscene will play revealing a sword that has surfaced in the pond. Interact with the sword, and your character reads a text that asks you to come again between 17:00-18:00.
Set the time on your clock and interact with the sword again which will summon the Knight of Crimson Moon. Your character should be strong enough for this boss fight, however be careful when he summons other knights to help him and target them first.
After defeating the Knight of the Crimson Moon, you unlock the Crimson Twilight trophy and are rewarded with one Premium Supply Chest and two Rare Supply Chests.
