Skyward Voyage is one of the many side quests you will encounter during your adventures in Wuthering Waves. While this isn’t one of the game’s more challenging quests, it has a few mechanics that can be tricky to deal with. This article will guide you through everything you need to know about the Skyward Voyage quest in Wuthering Waves, from how to start it, to the rewards you receive for completing it.

How To Start The Skyward Voyage Quest In Wuthering Waves?

You start the Skyward Voyage Quest in Wuthering Waves by speaking to “Old Captain” Davide in the Twin Peaks in the Thessaleo Falls area. The best way to get to this location is by fast traveling to the Resonance Beacon between the Garden of the Lost and the Twin Peaks. The quest will be available to start as soon as you land in the Rinascita region in Wuthering Waves.

After you have spoken to “Old Captain” Davide, he will ask you to show him the Cuddle Wuddle, which you can do by using your projector. You should already have a Cuddle Wuddle in your inventory as it is a very common item, but if you don’t then you can easily find one around Rinascita. You can also use the Echo Tracking feature in the Guidebook to find one.

Once you have the Cuddle Wuddle in your possession, equip it into your first active Echo slot. You can then use the Projector using your utility wheel, and show Davide the Cuddle Wuddle.

The next part of the quest is fairly simple, and just requires you to sit down on a nearby chair, and witness Davide’s departure in a cutscene. You can then go and check up on him after the cutscene is over to progress to the next part of the mission.

    Show Davide The Fae Ignis

Like in the first part of the quest, show Davide the Fae Ignis on your projector. While this Echo isn’t as common as the Cuddle Wuddle, you can still use the Guidebook to track one down, or you can find one in the Fagaceae Peninsula in the Tacet Field.

Show Davide the Fae Ignis once you have captured one, and then take a seat and watch his failed departure once again.

    Defeat The Fractsidus Members

Fly down to speak to Davide once again after the cutscene is over, and he will ask you to fetch him a Wingray by defeating the Fractsidus members. You can do this by heading to a nearby Fractsidus camp and defeating all the members over there. There will be around six Fractsidus members that you will have to defeat but this shouldn’t be too hard as you should be used to beating them up by now.

You can then save the Wingray by using a heavy attack to destroy the bars around its cage. Head back to Davide and sit back down on the chair to witness his final departure to complete the Skyward Voyage quest.

What Are The Rewards For Completing The Skyward Voyage Quest Guide?

Alongside unlocking a very short epilogue quest, completing the Skyward Voyage quest in Wuthering Waves gives you the following rewards :

    • Astrite x 300
    • Union EXP x 200
    • Shell Credit x 24000
    • Advanced Resonance Potion x 2
    • Advanced Sealed Tube x 1

Once you have completed the epilogue quest by checking up on Davide, you will also receive a Premium Supply Chest containing 40 Astrite.
