Plunderstorm is the battle-royale mode of World of Warcraft, where Plunder is the in-game currency and plays a huge role. There are a lot of items to collect in WoW Plunderstorm and the only way to get most of them is through collecting Plunder, which you can get through winning the battle royale but also through a number of other ways.

This article takes you through some of the best ways to farm Plunder in WoW Plunderstorm and what you can do with it.

You can farm Plunder in various ways in Plunderstorm, the most common and effective method being killing the mobs you come across throughout the map. You can also choose to go for the PvP route, as this also rewards you with a lot of Plunder or you can loot chests or complete quests.

The safest and most effective method to farm Plunder is usually avoiding the PvP strategy and looking to land on the peripheries then killing elite mobs and looting chests. Using this strategy will guarantee you a large amount of Plunder as these enemies drop ten Plunder each. You can also find groups of these mobs located in several areas of the map, and rounding them up and killing them all will be a great way to increase your Plunder levels without taking huge risks.

You can also grab all the golden chests you come across while you’re fighting all these mobs. This will also be a good way to level up quickly. You can also try and go for the bosses that randomly spawn on the skull icons marked on the map. These enemies are usually surrounded by many other players, but if you can manage to get your hands on the rare chests dropped by these bosses, you’ll be rewarded with a lot of Plunder.

World Quests are also simple and effective methods of farming Plunder in WoW Plunderstorm. You will usually receive a quest called “Captain’s Orders” when you start a Plunderstorm match, and completing it will grant you 250 Plunder. This is a great way of farming Plunder and is a great way to guarantee yourself some loot even if you don’t do too well in the battle royale.

The best mode for earning the most Plunder possible is duos, and it might be worth inviting a friend to make sure you can earn as much Plunder as you can.

Is PvP Necessary For Farming Plunder In WoW Plunderstorm?

While PvP certainly isn’t necessary for farming Plunder in WoW Plunderstorm, it will no doubt be needed if you want to win the game and increase your chances of getting even more Plunder. If you don’t feel too comfortable fighting other players, then you can stick to mobs and avoid fights till you are at a higher level and are forced to take them.

Winning PvP fights towards the end of the game is also more valuable as your opponents are likely to drop even more amounts of Plunder, which can be very useful even if you don’t go on to win the game. If you do manage to win Plunderstorm, then you will be rewarded with an extra 500 Plunder on top of your earnings throughout the game.

But even if you don’t go on to win the game, farming Plunder through the above-given techniques and then re-queuing whenever you die should be good enough to fetch you more than 700 Plunder every game as long as you manage to avoid other players successfully.

There are almost 70 items in the Plunderstore, and all of them can be bought by the Plunder that you farm in the Plunderstorm mode. From Mounts and Battle Pets such as Hooktalon and Parley to appearances for weapons and other body parts, you can unlock a lot of new customization options by earning Plunder in this game.
