Ricciolli Islands are some of the newest regions to be added to Wuthering Waves with the recent update. Although they are very simple to reach, getting to the last discoverable Island within the Ricciolli Island known as Reyes Ruins can be quite confusing as it is completely covered by a storm which stops players from progressing.
This article will tell you exactly how you can complete the required quests and get to Ricciolli Island as well as Reyes Ruins.
How To Get To The Ricciolli Island In Wuthering Waves

The Ricciolli Islands are located just to the north of the mainland region of Rinascita. You can simply find these Islands and explore them but it is recommended to play through the Set Sail! Pro Angler! quest in the Old Man and the Whale Event first to unlock the whole story.
Head to the Events menu in-game and find the Event Page titled Old Man And The Whale. Click on the Event Rewards section and begin the quest titled “Set Sail! Pro Angler!” Once you have started the quest, go to the port area marked on the map to find the Fisherman. Interact with the Fisherman to begin a cutscene, after which you will be tasked to speak to the Gondolier.
Head straight to find the Gondolier right in front of you and speak with him. Choose the prompt saying “That’s me. Let’s go” when he asks you a question and another cutscene will trigger and you will arrive at the Riccioli Islands, where you can make progress and complete more quests.
How To Get To Reyes Ruins In Wuthering Waves

Once you have made some progress in this event, you will come across the quest to Locate Ahab and learn about the Final Island. Starting this quest is the only way to unlock the Storm and get to Reyes Ruins in Wuthering Waves.
Fast Travel to the Docks on Ricciolli Island and head north to come across the old man standing next to a ship. Interacting with him will start a cutscene, after which you will be assigned the task of sailing from the dock to the small island designated by Ahab. Head south to the location assigned on your map and you will find Rachel, the Fishing Boat, which you can jump on to start the next part of the mission.
Unlocking Reyes Ruins

Your task here is to get to the Island in the north called Reyes Ruins, marked on your map. You just have to make sure you don’t venture too close to the huge storm which will be easily visible on your screen. If you get too close to the storm, you will be reset back to your starting location.
Simply head to the small island towards the northeast of the start point and once you reach there another cutscene will play. This cutscene will show the Storm eventually being calmed down and you will then automatically be teleported to Reyes Ruins, past the storm.
Although you will have gotten to the Island by this point, you will still need to complete the rest of the quest to make the storm dissipate.
Unlocking The Storm

Your next objective once you reach this point is to speak to Phoebe who will be standing right in front of you. Once you do this, the next step is to find a clue around the lighthouse. This is located just at the top of the ruined building marked on your map.
Here you will find an ancient stele, which you can read to discover a hidden message. This message will tell you to find the three gifts of the sea to make the storm disappear and bring light back to the region. Phoebe will then tell you that you need to find three gifts from the sea if you want to break the seal.
These three gifts are:
- 1 Sob Blob
- 1 Dead Man’s Eye
- 1 Cilione
For each of the items, fish on the spots given on the map and then deliver to the marked location. Then, head to the Lighthouse on Reyes Island and light it up. Meet with Phoebe once again to exchange the clues you have found.
Your next objective after a long cutscene is to find Ahab, which can also be done by following his location on the map. Board the ship right in front of you and meet Brant to trigger another cutscene.

The final part of the mission is a boss fight against Lorelai’s Kindred: Outcast of the Depths. This fight won’t be as tough as it looks and you will be able to get through it as long as you manage to avoid their combos and do enough damage over time to lower their health.
Another cutscene will play after this fight, showing the disappearing storm after which you will only have to complete two bonus tasks to finally complete the Old Man and the Whale Quest and get to Reyes Ruins without the fear of getting engulfed by the storm.
